A Texas native, Katherine has been organizing events since she was tall enough to set the table. Her parents, grandparents and great grandparents were avid entertainers who frequently hosted parties at their home. Katherine’s first event responsibilities were scrubbing the floor, polishing the silver, and cleaning up the empty plates left around the room. As she became more familiar with the party planning process, she began to arrange the food and place settings.
In college, Katherine organized everything for her sorority house from tailgates to socials to formals, sometimes coordinating two events per week. When she planned her own wedding and found that the entire process was second nature to her, she realized that event planning was her calling.
